The best part about living in East Tennessee is enjoying all the seasons. Fall is particularly beautiful in this area because of the brilliant foliage and autumn colors. My family and I love outdoor dining when the weather permits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wanted to share with you some simple outdoor dining tips using items you might already have around the house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Table Runner- I layered with a jute table runner used year round my dining room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Chargers- I used gold plated chargers we use almost every holiday. You can find them often at thrift stores which is where mine came from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Antique Silver-plated candlesticks found at a yard sale and small gold candlesticks for varying heights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4) Pumpkins – This time of year you probably already have an abundant collection of pumpkins lying around already. I used small white and orange pumpkins for a layered look of color. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

6) Napkins- Some we have on hand mostly used in the spring. But the colors in these went well with the outdoor setting so worked just fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7) The dishes- The bowls and salt and pepper shakers were Wedding Gifts and are Butler’s Pantry by Lenox. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

8) Blanket- I added a flannel throw for some color and to cozy up to in the cool Fall air. The blanket is actually a poncho style flannel pullover, but can also easily be used as a throw. Added pillows for cushion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9) Misc- The teapot is one I had gotten from a thrift store and keep in my kitchen for decoration and tea. The creamer is an Ironstone dish I decorate with on my dining room hutch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

10) Dutch Oven- The dutch oven pot is from Magnolia Home. It’s one of my favorite pots for soups and sourdough brioche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The table is a family heirloom passed down from my Mother that we used for special occasions. We’ve shared many a Thanksgiving Feast at this table, it holds special memories for my family. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was perfect chilly fall day for White Chicken Chile! I hope if the weather allows for it where you live, you can enjoy a meal outside using simple fall decor and items from around the house. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
