Valentine Kitchen/Breakfast Nook Decor
I love how my Valentine’s Decorations gave primarily white kitchen pops of color and vibrancy. It’s one of the many reasons I enjoy having neutral backgrounds, because you have versatility to change decor so easily throughout the seasons.

These bottle brush trees make me so happy and I use them every chance I get. I also used some gnomes from Christmas in my Valentine’s Decorations. This XOXO sign is from the Dollar Tree and it’s so cute and was such a great price at $5.00 I had to have two. I used the other one by my fireplace.

I have two size tier trays that I use to decorate for different seasons. This 2-tier tray turned out so cute with a few items from Hobby Lobby; the gnomes are from the Dollar store, and the heart garland is a handmade item from our local antique store. The other tier tray, my daughter and I made Valentines cupcakes and used the tray to display them.

The lights in the window are lit willow trees in tin pales with gold ornaments holding them up that are from Christmas that I left up because I liked the glow in the window and thought it would work well for Valentine’s too. Anthying I can leave up for two seasons saves time, storage and money!

The breakfast nook turned out sweet and romantic. Not that me and my husband ever get a romantic dinner to ourselves at home haha. But I’ve enjoyed the pops of color without spending a fortune making it look festive for Valentine’s. The red napkins were Christmas clearance items 75 percent off from Hobby Lobby and the Be Mine garland was from the dollar store.

For the kitchen, I got this heart wood bowl, kitchen utensils, pink mason jar, wood bead garland all from Hobby Lobby. I bought several of these red candles at HomeGoods and used the others on my mantle and another by my breakfast nook. There is a twine heart which doesn’t show well in the picture. The cookbook I’ve had for years and went perfect. I love how all the woods look together with the bead garland and red.

My daughter and I made cupcakes. This corner nook was so cute with this red ladder from Hobby Lobby Christmas clearance. The vintage scale I’ve had and ususally sits on top of my kitchen cabinets. The mini tier tray on top of the was also on clearance, but I couldn’t find anything small enough to set on it, so I used it for height. It was $1.00 also on clearance. The Be Mine sign is handmade from the antique store. The vintage mixer, I was a gift from someone who knew I loved antiques, I use mostly only for decor at Valentine’s.

I like to move things around and stage things. I wanted to show you this vintage mixer by itself because in the other picture, you really couldn’t see how adorable the painted cherries are. At the time my friend gave this to me as a gift, my kitchen was painted Pomegranetate red. The mixer was repurposed for decoration and the bottom reads cherry cakes, cherry muffins, cherry pie etc.

Here are the Valentine’s cupcakes my daughter and I baked and the a better view of the mixer staged with the cupcakes just to give you an idea of how you can use things different ways if you like to rearrange like I do.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!
