Glamping Slumber Party For Girls
I wanted to share a favorite party idea we did for my twins. I have boy/girl twins, so we had a tent party for both on the same night. For simplicity sake, I’m going to share them on separate posts. I will start with the girls tents, because let’s face it, girl’s stuff is just more fun!

My twins wanted a slumber style birthday party. I had seen similar tent parties on a friends post that lived in another town. Curious to see if something like this was available in my area, I did an internet search, and found a local company that provided tent set-up and breakdown for parties called Firefly Slumber Parties. I called to find out about pricing and set up. I searched their website to find a theme suitable to what my daughter had envisioned for her perfect party. We decided on a unicorn theme, because what girl doesn’t love those magical horned horses. Luckily, there were some rainbows added in to this setup, which is another favorite, and a big hit with the girls at the party.

The birthday girl got to sleep in the unicorn tent and feel special! I love this age where unicorns are magical and are real in young girls minds. They “live” in a place far beyond, which makes them even more magical and mystical.

The “unicorns make me happy” sign, rainbow pillows, unicorn night lights, and faux fur rugs are so stinking cute!

We ordered unicorn sleep masks from Amazon, as party gifts, to go with our magical unicorn party theme. The guests were tickled to take home a unicorn sleep mask to keep.

We had a unicorn cake which is a little girls dream and fit perfectly with the theme of the party. I went with similar colors to that of the tents to keep continuity and help the party theme look cohesive. My friend Erin had started a bakery called Sweet E’s Bakery, and it fit the party perfectly. The buttercream icing was as delicious as it was beautiful. The cake was perfect for Kate’s princess unicorn themed party!

My attempt at making a rainbow arch. Haha! I couldn’t get the sides from collapsing in, but it was still colorful and bright. The kids were probably just being sweet, but they assured me it looked like a rainbow:)

If you are interested in hosting a tent style party in your area, they do the set up and break down for the tents. It is a super easy and fun way to host without the hassle. Add in a cake and a few decorations and your done! Besides maybe missing a few winks of sleep. But that’s what coffee is for right?

I wanted to post the link to where we rented the tents, https://www.fireflytricities.com They were great to work with and the owners have become friends.
